CHAPTER 3. Board of Directors

§ 10. Board composition

The composition of the Board will, as far as possible, reflect the various occupational categories represented among the members of the Association.

§ 11. Nomination of Board Members

Each active member who has fulfilled his/her obligations to the Association is entitled to nominate and submit proposals for members to sit on the Board.

Nomination of board members is prepared by a Nominations Committee. The Nominations Committee is elected at the annual general meeting.

§ 12. Eligibility

All active members who have belonged to the Association for at least three years are eligible to join the Board.

§ 13. Members

The Association Board consists of the Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, plus five members (4 + 5 members).

Alternatively, the Board consists of the Chair, Deputy Chair and Secretary/Treasurer, as well as six members (3 + 6 members).

The Board appoints other officials.

§ 14. Elections and mandate period
The Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are elected for a period of two years.

Other members of the Board are elected for a period of three years.
